The Quehanna Industrial Development Corporation was founded back in 1990 to bring businesses and industry to the Quehanna Area in hopes that it would also bring people back to the area.

Many people have come to our events over the years and loved the area so much that they purchased property or camps in the area. Some people have even relocated here.
We hold 3 major events each year.

Our Elk Antler Shed Hunt is held from February to May and then the last Saturday in May we hold the scoring contest and the winner is awarded a prize. We have added to this event a Deer Antler Shed Hunt for children 12 and under.

Our Annual Canoe/Kayak/Paddleboard River Run is held the first Saturday in May and is for competitive and non competitive participants. This is an 11 mile race down a part of the Susquehanna River that runs through Clearfield County.

Our Annual QIDC 100 Mile Yard Sale brings in people from all over the United States and parts of Canada. It is held the third Friday and Saturday of July. This event goes along Route 879 outside of Clearfield, Pa.
